Adorable DIY Mini Candy Bin Favors

I love candy. Especially hard, sour candies. I’m not much into chocolate but if you hand me some Sweetarts, Smarties, or Sour Straws I’m in. Just like my love for candy, I fell in love with these adorable mini-candy bins while perusing my local Container Store and thought they’d be perfect for bridal shower or wedding favors. It’s so true that love makes life sweet and I wanted to celebrate that feeling with these favors. I’ve created the labels in 8 different colors and all eight are available in our shop for only $1.99! Now the question is, what kind of candy will you use? Maybe your favorite and his?

Eight Colors

Our exclusive “Love Makes Life Sweet” candy labels come in 8 different pastel colors to perfectly fit your unique event. Choose from gray, lavender, aqua, green, yellow, blue, pink, or white. I used the pink and yellow labels here.

Print + Cut

Purchase our exclusive candy label files in our shop and then print your favorite color onto 8.5″ x 11″ white sticker paper. Trim each label, there are 36 per sheet. It’s best if you can trim on the cut lines provided, but not cut all the way through the sheet, just pierce at the cut line and slice to the next line. That will keep all labels and cut lines intact.

Fill With Candy

Fill your candy bins with your favorite candy, maybe one with your favorite and one with your partners favorite! These held 3.5 oz of Smarties perfectly. I would recommend filling these close to your event as they don’t have an airtight seal and some candies might get stale (probably not smarties though, lol).

Add The Label

These labels do double duty! Not only are they adorable but they also hold the lid of the bin closed with that little flap on the side. Peel the backing off the sticker paper label and adhere to the bins. So cute!

Shower or Wedding

These would be absolutely perfect for your bridal shower, but might be a tad bit expensive if you give one to every guest at your wedding. Maybe think about giving one bin to each couple or each family. It might even be the perfect way to escort them to their table, as you could add a little tag with each couples seating information!
