I am Carli Hein from Hein & Dandy and today I am going to walk you through how to make your own “Will you be my bridesmaid” photo block! This is an easy tutorial that your girls will love. Adding an instant photo makes it so personal, remembering the memories you spent together. Let’s get started!
Supplies:
* Mod Podge
* Metal Clip
* Instax Camera
* Instax Film
* Paint Brush
* Glue Gun
* Scissors
* Card Stock
* Wood block
* Free Printable
Print
You can find our free printable at the bottom of this post! Click download and then open the file. Click on file then print. You can change the number of copies depending on how many bridesmaids you are going to ask. We have also made a sheet that has a “will you be my maid of honor” and also a “will you be my flower girl”.
Cut
Using a scissors or paper cutter, cut around the colored rectangle.
Mod Podge
Dip a sponge paint brush into the Mod Podge, get a good amount on the brush. Start by coating the wood block in Mod Podge. Line up the paper on the wood block. The Mod Podge dries quickly so put the cut paper over the wood block quickly and press down. Make sure you press down on all corners and through the middle of the wood block. To seal add a thin layer of Mod Podge over the paper and wood block.
Hot Glue
Heat up your glue gun and glue one side of the clip. You also have to work very quickly with hot glue because it dries to fast. As soon as you get the glue on the clip, place in the middle of the block. Press down and hold until dry.
Place Photo
Once the Mod Podge is dry and the hot glue is cool, add your photo! If you don’t already have an instax photo with your future bridesmaid, bring your camera when you give her the block! Take a photo when you ask her, what a fun way to remember how you asked!
