It’s fall y’all and we’re playing with some pretty fall grasses from FiftyFlowers.com today! We’ve created four gorgeous new exclusive printable design files that you can now buy in our shop for only $2.99 and they’re editable, just add your guests’ info and print. There are many ways you can embellish these cards with foliage and we’re sharing four ideas below. We’ve also added metallic foil to some of the cards which you should totally do, and here’s how to do it if you don’t know how!
Seating vs. Escort
Escort cards are given to your guests as they enter your reception. They have their name and table number on them. Seating cards are placed at each place setting to tell the guest which seat is reserved for them. Both the darling files we’re sharing today have one card design with a space for the table number and one without. Use them both, or use just one!
You’ll need to download either Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat to edit this printable file. The fonts we used are Melinda Script and Bebas, both are free and you’ll need to download them before you edit the file. Click each box to add your personal information and then save the file.
Print + Cut
Print the files using your home printer and trim each one out, there six cards per sheet. Four design files, two styles; one with a spot for a table number and one without. Then cut out each one.
Pretty Foliage
Our beautiful foliage is from FiftyFlowers.com and is a bundle kit called Fall Ornamental Grass Medley. These beautiful grasses arrived freshly cut, right to our door. Use any type of greenery or grass that you like for this project!
Mini Clothespins
The first way you can add foliage to these darling cards is by simply clipping it on the side using mini clothespins!
Hole Punch
The second way you can add foliage to these cards is by hole punching the top and bottom and inserting the grass through the holes!
Binder Clip
The third version is to use a metallic binder clip to attach the foliage!
Bend + Tape
The fourth and last idea is to fold long, flexible grass and tape it to the backside of the cards!
