Happy Monday lovelies! We have SO much crafty goodness to celebrate today, especially because we have Martha Stewart in the house! Just a few weeks ago she released her very own, stunning, Cricut® Explore Air™ 2 Special Edition Machine sold exclusively at Michaels, which of course is the most gorgeous shade of gold! If launching her new Cricut wasn’t enough, she’s also now selling the most fabulous line of party supplies and decor at Michaels called Celebrations, have you seen it? An entire aisle packed full of adorable party designs in the most fantastic color themes… like this gold that is worth swooning over. Today we’re using Martha’s new Cricut to create some ultra-chic wedding workout tanks to keep your motivation high while sweating for your wedding!
Special thanks to our model Alyssa, who is my CrossFit girl crush that rocks the gym like nobody else! Isn’t she the cutest!?
SportFlex Iron-on
Today’s project is a mixed celebration of Martha and SportFlex. Cricut just released a brand new premium iron-on material specifically created for activewear! It’s strong bond and flexible nature means you can kick, flex, run, and work it all out while showing off your creative side. Meant to be used with polyester and nylon fabrics, wait 24 hours after ironing to wash.
Cute Tank Tops or Shirts (maybe even a water bottle or tumbler)
Parchment Paper

The New Martha Stewart Machine
The Michaels exclusive, Cricut Explore Air 2™ Special Edition Martha Stewart Machine Bundle includes 25 exclusive Martha Stewart projects, plus a color-coordinated Basic Tool Set with a weeder, spatula, scraper, tweezers, and scissors… isn’t it gorgeous!? This new beauty will make it super easy for you to create personalized and professional-quality projects, while looking fabulous doing it. This machine is easily one of the prettiest things in my craft studio!
Download + Upload
At the end of the post you can grab our FREE Cricut cut files and upload them to your Design Space. Add to your canvas, resize to fit your shirt or other surface, pick the color of iron-on you’re going to use and get to cutting. Don’t forget to mirror the image for iron-on designs!
Let The Cricut Work It’s Magic
Weed
Weed, aka. remove, all the non-design areas of the iron-on so that all that’s left is your lovely design.
Parchment Recommended
It’s recommended that SportFlex iron-on be used with parchment paper. Cut a piece a little bit larger than your design and put the paper between your design and your iron (or EasyPress) during application.
Iron-On
I put my EasyPress Mat inside of each shirt for the ideal iron-on base. Then preheated my shirt for about 5 seconds and proceeded to iron the design onto the tank top with my EasyPress. Refer to this page to find exact heat and timing settings for your specific fabric and iron-on material.
Reveal
Peel off the backing to reveal your fabulous new workout tank top! Soooo cute!
Tumblers Too!
In case your gym water bottle needs a little love, these designs can embellish it too! We used Cricut’s Premium Outdoor Vinyl in black to ensure that through washing and regular use, this design would stay intact and make you smile every time you need some hydration!
Three Cute Sayings
At the end of the post you can download our exclusive cut files for FREE! We have three fun, energetic wedding workout sayings for you that can be cut out of iron-on, vinyl, paper, you name it. Which one is your favorite?
