DIY Bridal Party Shirts With Cricut Maker

Happy Monday crafty babes! Oooohh, this one is a good one… it’s actually a good week! Our lovely bridal blogger Brittany Altenbaugh, now Brittany Avila got married back in November and we are not only sharing her drop-dead-gorgeous wedding this week, but we’re also sharing two DIY projects that I created specifically for her! Up first, her adorable bridal party t-shirt dresses! I used my Cricut Maker to whip these cuties out in just a few minutes and I’m sharing all three designs at the end of the post – so you can make them for free! I know I’m kinda teasing you with her pretty wedding pictures, but you’ll only have to wait until Wednesday to see her entire feature, and you don’t want to miss it!
SUPPLIES:
- Cricut Maker or Cricut Explore
- Cricut EasyPress
- Cricut BrightPad
- Cricut Iron-on, I used Rose Gold Foil and White Lite
- Cricut Weeding Tools
- Blank T-shirt Dresses
- Cute Striped Socks
- Ironing Board
- Our free .SVG cut files at the end of the post!
Customize In Design Space
Download our free .SVG cut files at the end of the post and upload into Cricut Design Space. Duplicate each file as many times as you need; ie. if you have 4 bridesmaids in the party, you’ll need to duplicate the bridesmaid design 4 times. Color to match the type of iron-on your using for each file to keep yourself organized while cutting.
Optional: Using your favorite font, add the date under Bride and maybe each bridesmaids name! (I used ITC Legacy Sans Pro Book which is a Cricut font)

Weed The Designs
Here I’m weeding the designs on top of my Cricut BrightPad, which makes seeing the cut lines super easy! If you aren’t familiar, “weeding” means to remove all the scrap material that isn’t part of your design.
Iron The Designs
The Cricut EasyPress would be the result of an iron and a heat press having a baby. It’s fabulous and even has a digital thermometer and timer! Set the time + temperature for your specific type of iron-on and fabric (see this chart for specks) and press each design onto the t-shirt dresses!
I Do Crew
That’s all there is to it! Cut, weed and press! DIY has never looked so good, or been so easy and as a result your bridal party will look fabulous!
