Growing up, my parents limited the amount of time we spent with “digital” toys and so we often played (or should I say filled-in) Mad-libs and we would laugh for hours. If you’re my age you might remember and think fondly of that computer-less time we spent growing up. Over five years ago now, I asked my mom if she would write a few wedding Mad-libs for the blog that I could offer as free downloads and of course, she said yes. Today’s three new themes; Meeting The Future In-Laws, The Name Change, and They Eloped brings our grand total up to 12 different funny stories to print and enjoy for free. My Canon PIXMA iP8720 Crafting Printer made the printing of all these files fast and fabulous!
About These Wed-libs
Our “Wed-Libs” take after the classic MadLibs. These are not sweet, fill in stories for the bride and groom to read after the wedding is over – they are hilarious ice breakers for your guests to enjoy! You are meant to blindly fill in the words asked for (on the back of these cards) and then transfer or read them into the front paragraph, or have a friend quiz you and fill them in on the front. It makes for a ridiculously hilarious story that is wedding themed!
Our FREE ‘Wed-libs’ printable at the end of the post!
Download + Print
Choose the files you’d like to print at the end of the post, and then print onto 8.5″ x 11″ cardstock. You’ll print the front side first, then place back into your favorite printer (mine of course is my Canon iP8720 Crafting Printer!) and print the backside. These files are formatted to print perfectly when you click to choose “actual size” from your printer settings box!
Trim
These 8.5″ x 11″ sheets of cardstock only require 1 cut – in half lengthwise at 5.5″. Done!
Add A Pencil
Using a piece of twine or ribbon, tie a pencil onto each Wed-lib card… so cute!
