It’s day four of #favorweek and I’ve had this project planned for months, so I’m excited to finally share! If you’re looking for a cute, quick, and inexpensive bridal shower favor or holiday gift, these DIY EOS Lip Balm Cards are it. In just a few steps, you’ll be able to dress up a sweet little present that’s actually a necessity this time of year. I’ve printed these cards (and all our other favor week labels) using my Canon PIXMA MG7720 Wireless All-in-One Printer, because it quickly prints fantastic quality on all types of paper. Please don’t forget to share your versions of our favors using the hashtag #somethingturquoisediy… we’ll be reposting our favorites!
Holiday or Bridal Shower
These super sweet gifts would make the perfect engagement party or bridal shower favors… or awesome and quick holiday gifts, so I’m sharing two label options with you. One that says “he popped the question” and the other that says “may your holidays be bright”!
Start by downloading your choice of printable design at the end of the post. Here I’m printing with my Canon PIXMA MG7720, which prints fast with fabulous quality. Trim on the lines provided using scissors or a paper trimmer. Each card measures 4″ x 4″.
Cut The Circle + Round The Corners
Using a small compass circle cutter on top of a cutting matt, carefully cut out the hole for the lip balm. You can also do this with scissors if you’d like. I rounded the edges with my corner chomper as embellishment.
Add The Lip Balm
Remove the EOS lip balms from their packaging and twist them closed onto each card – so cute right!?
Print + Cut + Twist
This project is quick and simple but sure to get an awesome reaction from whoever is lucky enough to receive it. Print, cut and twist the lip balm into place… that’s all there is to it!
