The big appeal of “DIY” is that you can take a simple item – and with a few supplies turn it into something fabulous + totally unique. Which is what I’m doing today with the most darling diamond shaped trinket boxes you’ve ever seen! I’m going to show you exactly how to create your own custom monogram within Cricut Design Space so that you can easily personalize this project, or any cute item you find. If you’ve never used a Cricut before, starting with a simple monogram project like this is perfect because it’s easy, quick and useful. In less than 30 minutes you’ll have an adorable engagement, bridal shower, or wedding gift – or maybe just a fun little present for yourself!
Gorgeous Boxes
I found these boxes while browsing a new section on Amazon called “Interesting Finds“… and they are awesome! Incredibly well made by Fort Standard for Areaware, the crown and base are secured with magnets, creating the sweetest hideaway for whatever you value! Only $15!

Design Then Cut
After you design the monogram all you have to do is cut and apply it to whatever you’re personalizing! Here I’m using:
Mat: Strong Grip (because right off the roll the foil is a bit strong)
Blade: Regular
Setting: Custom, on Adhesive Foil
Weed + Apply
Simply weed away the scrap foil, lift and apply the monogram to your darling diamond box!
Cricut Fonts + Files Used For Each Box:
JRC: Layered Monogram (Cricut Font)
M: Anna’s Decorative Monograms #M1BB9BB
C&M: Market Street Fonts – Paint Can (Cricut Font)
SCO: Lovely Floral (Cricut Font), plus heart shape
Crazy Shine
These new adhesive foils from Cricut have the most amazing shine… this design was made with the stainless dark silver and in the light flashed an amazing gold!
