I love little details. All the tiny things that in the end, add up to be the big things. Like these super sweet DIY Bridal Party Bouquet Charms! I found some darling faux gemstone charms at Michaels and then added an initial to each one – the perfect little element to attach to your bridesmaids bouquets… that will ensure the gals know who’s flowers are who’s! It’s a quick project too, you can easily make all you’ll need in about an hour. The hardest part will be choosing which charms or gemstones that perfectly represent your wedding theme!
Have your florist add these cute charms to each bouquet or do-it-yourself the morning of your special event!
SUPPLIES:
- Cute charms (mine are from Michaels)
- Alphabet charms (bought them silver and spray painted them gold!)
- 20 gauge wire
- Jump rings
- Wire cutters
- Pliers
Bend A Quick Hook
You’ll need to have a way for your charms to attach to each bouquet; whether by wire, ribbon or the like.
Here I cut 4″ of 20 gauge jewelry wire and bent each end to resemble a heart. This wire can then be pinched tightly onto the stems of the flowers in each bouquet.
Assemble Your Charms
Using a jump ring, attach an initial charm onto the stone charm and close the ring to secure. Then thread on your heart wire – done! So cute, so simple and so quick… like I said, the hardest part will be choosing what charms to use!
CRAFTERS NOTE: For the shoot, I carefully added the charms to my little bouquet – on your wedding day they should be more firmly attached than pictured.
