Simple DIY | It’s Time To Drink Champagne + Plan A Wedding Printable Greeting Card and Signs
I cannot believe that this is our last DIY tutorial for 2015! I feel like it was just yesterday that I shared the first one. It’s been such a wonderful year full of creative wedding projects and I’m thankful to each and everyone of you who have shared your versions of my projects, seriously it’s my favorite! It’s been a while since I shared a simple DIY and this one is for all our brand spanking new brides! (Did you know that engagement season spans from Thanksgiving to Valentines Day?) I’m sure there are plenty of you gals out there with brand new bling on your fingers, and more to come over the next few weeks… so It’s Time To Drink Champagne And Plan A Wedding! Today I’m sharing 3 different sized prints and one greeting card of this design, all of which you can download for free. Happy Crafting!
Instead Of Dancing On A Table…
It’s time to drink champagne and plan a wedding, naturally! I’m by no means a hand-lettering artist but I was playing around with my new Chalk Ink markers and this little twist on that popular saying. I was planning to share this sign in the new year to congratulate our new brides, but I loved how it came out so I figured why not make it into a free printable!
SUPPLIES:
- 8.5″ x 11″ White Cardstock
- Paper Trimmer (or scissors)
- Home Printer
OPTIONAL SUPPLIES:
- A7 Sized Envelope
- Frame
- Chalk
Craft Tip: Add Chalk
If you are a chalkboard-loving kind of gal, just add chalk! After you print out this design, wipe chalk dust all over it using the side of the piece of chalk – then rub it in and wipe it away with your fingers. It adds that chalky feel to the print and makes it look more rustic!
Frame Your Print
Frame my 4 x 6, 5 x 7 or 8 x 10 prints and give them to your favorite newly engaged gal… or if you are the bride, print and display on your desk or nightstand!
Happy Engagement -Or- Bridesmaid Card
This darling card makes the perfect addition to any engagement present or even a super fun card to give your future bridesmaids! This card was designed to fit inside an A7 sized envelope.
- Print onto 8.5″ x 11″ cardstock
- Trim around design
- Fold it in half!
Embellish Your Print
Here instead of framing, I matted it on another piece of white cardstock and added the chalk dust. The perfect addition to a champagne gift!
