It’s day number three of our “DIY Gift Wrap Week” and I’ve got a simple trick for turning plain, cheap gift bags or boxes into super festive packages! This gift wrap idea was inspired by this giant modern fringe Christmas tree that Martha Stewart shared last year, such a great idea for a small space. I used my favorite Martha fringe scissors to slice up a few tiny pieces of tissue paper and in just minutes a boring bag is made fabulous. Finding this post beyond the holidays? Don’t worry, fringe is an adorable way to wrap and embellish any type of gift! Don’t forget to share your versions of this project with us using the hashtag #somethingturquoisediy on Instagram and Twitter! Happy Crafting!
As with all our DIY tutorials, if you create one of our projects please send us a picture – We Love Seeing Your Creativity! If you use Instagram or Twitter please use the hashtag #SomethingTurquoiseDIY and it will show up on our Get Social page. Happy Crafting!
