I’m a big fan of keepsakes. I love looking back on little trinkets that remind me of good times. So I think that you should make this darling frame to always remember that very first toast as Mr & Mrs. Save either your champagne cork or wine cork from your wedding day in a small shadow box frame, embellish with a ribbon and place in your home. When you are old and gray you’ll be glad you did…
SUPPLIES:
5″x7″ shadow box frame
your special cork
Advanced strength Glue Dot sheets
ribbon
scissors
edit our FREE printable below
8.5″x11″ cardstock
Ok – so here’s the thing about this free printable – there are limitations. For me to create a free – editable – printable pdf. for you I have to use fonts that are universal in Adobe. I don’t like those fonts, they are ugly.
So, if you have Adobe Acrobat Pro – there’s no issue – you’ll be able to edit and print perfectly. Just go to Tools –> Edit Text & Images –> then click on each section and print.
If you don’t have Acrobat Pro, I am providing a document that doesn’t have the names and date on it – so you can try to convert it to whatever editing software you have and add the names and date in a separate text box. The names font point size is 60 and the date is 36. Good luck.
***Either way make sure you have downloaded the free “Champagne & Limousines” font before you get started.
Print the design onto 8.5″x11″ cardstock and cut down to 5″x7″.
Tie a little bow around your cork.
Cut a small rectangle strip of the advanced strength Glue Dot sheet for your cork…
..add the glue strip to the cork and press into your print out. Feel free to use any super strong glue that you already have, I just love the permanent, strong bond of these Glue Dots – and you don’t have to wait for them to dry!
Add the printout and cork to your shadowbox frame and close.
If you like, add a bow!
Of course I had to make one with a turquoise background!
