I am SO very glad that it’s finally #DIYfriday!!! I’m going to be honest… taking on 9 tutorials this week was a little crazy – but being able to share the final result with you today is making it all worth it. In case you haven’t been following along this week… I’ve shared 8 DIY felt flower tutorials, culminating in this post – how to make a gorgeous wedding bouquet entirely out of felt. This bouquet isn’t for everyone. Only the most hardcore DIY bride should carry this gorgeous bunch down the aisle…

UPDATE: May 21st, 2018: You no longer have to cut all these petals and leaves for the felt flowers by hand! We have the Cricut .SVG cut files for this entire bouquet (and many other designs) available in our shop now! Cutting these shapes with the Cricut is a HUGE time saver!
To assemble your felt wedding bouquet you’ll need to cut multiple pieces of wire, from 3″ – 7″.
Start with 5 large flowers, arrange them the way you like and wrap their stems together with 1 piece of cut wire.
Wrap the wire nice and tight!
Then add more flowers… 3-5 is the perfect number – and then wrap with wire again.
Continue building your bouquet by adding flowers and wrapping the stems together with wires…
Keep balance in mind while building your bunch…
Look at your bouquet from ALL angles. Make sure that all sides are packed full of felt flowers.
Once you are happy with the bouquet, trim all the wire stems to match.
Now it’s time to wrap the stems in felt… cut a large piece to wrap the length of the wires and a small piece to wrap the ends.
Hot glue and cover the very ends of your wire with felt. This not only secures your stems but protects your hands from those sharp wires!
Now wrap the entire length of your wire stems in felt and hot glue.
Isn’t it beautiful! Now you can leave the bouquet stem just as it is… or you can cover with ribbon! See below…
Hot glue and wrap your bouquet stems in your choice of ribbon!
Seriously, I’m dying it’s so gorgeous.
Don’t forget about the gents! Now that you know how to make all these blooms… incorporate smaller versions for the groom and groomsmen!
Seriously swooning!!!
This felt wedding bouquet is the perfect fit for the hardcore DIY bride.
