Table numbers are one of the best items to DIY for your wedding… there are so many creative things that you can do to personalize the way your guests will find their seats. This project is not only extremely simple, but it is also incredibly personal and your guests will love it – they might even walk around to each table to see all the different poses you did! Set up a tripod, sweet talk a photog-y friend or add these shots into your engagement session!
SUPPLIES // large wooden board, Martha Stewart Chalkboard Paint and roller, and chalk!
You can easily purchase a chalkboard but it is much more fun to make your own. Paint three thin and even coats onto your board and let dry completely.
Find a fun font that you like and print out all the numbers as a guide for you to draw them onto your chalkboard. You can download the guide below {here} for free. The font is called Gallery.
Write each table number that you need onto the chalkboard and take pictures! HAVE FUN with poses, get creative, be silly… think about your outfits… they should somewhat match your wedding day decor. If your outfits are busy – go for a simple background… or vise-versa. Keep it classy – grandma’s going to see these. If the black of the chalkboard doesn’t go, see how to make chalkboard paint {here}.
Find some cute frames (I fell in love with these from Nate Berkus at Target) …print your pictures and your done! There are so many ways that you can do this… and I cannot wait to see what you all come up with!
As with all our DIY tutorials, if you create one of our projects please send us a picture or a trackback – We Love Seeing Your Creativity! Happy Crafting!
