I have a rediculously easy do-it-yourself tutorial for you today… pumpkin table number centerpieces! It’s fall and pumpkins are everywhere… why not have them double as your table numbers and centerpieces! Simply paint thumbtacks any color you want and stab them into a pumpkin… this technique is not just for table numbers – it’s wonderful for initials too!
SUPPLIES // large pumpkins, spray paint, thumbtacks and moss for decoration.
Start by pushing thumbtacks into paper – this will keep them all in one place while painting.
In an area safe for spray painting – spray all your thumbtacks!
Using a pencil draw each table number onto a pumpkin…
..then follow the pencil line with your freshly painted thumbtacks!
That’s it! So fun, so easy and SO cute!
Ps. I’ve had these in my house for a few weeks now and no one believes that they are thumbtacks! It’s been fun to hear my friends and families interest in how this was done :)
Add a few small gourds and pumpkins to each table and you’ll be good to go!
