If you’ve landed here, you’re likely familiar with the joys of Splurge and Saves. But just in case you aren’t, allow me to explain:
I’m Kendra Found It, and I find home decor that helps you decorate on a budget. I pick a popular style and find it in different sizes, price points, colors, materials, and finishes. All items are similar, but there are details that set them apart (kinda like us, right?!). This is where you find your perfect fit according to what YOU need and what attributes you value the most. Got some money to invest? Check out my splurges. On a budget? Check out my saves.
Today I’ve rounded up five home decor Splurge and Saves, so sit back, relax, and let me do the shopping for you.
P.S. Don’t forget to check out my previous Splurge and Save articles if you want more home decor finds.
1. SPLURGE AND SAVE: MADEWELL COURT LOW-TOP SNEAKERS
It’s been a while since I’ve done a fashion Splurge and Save, so let’s change that! I love everything that Madewell makes, but I have a particular soft spot for their accessories – everything is just so good. When I was browsing their shoes online, I was instantly drawn to their Court Sneakers. Made of leather and suede, these vintage-inspired running shoes feature a variety of combinations of soft, pastel colours, a minimalist shape, and supercushy (that’s the exact term they use!) insoles.
On my most recent Target run, I noticed their Flora and Hal Sneakers, which have similar pastel colours (available in pink, grey, blue, and green), a sporty vintage vibe, and minimalist shape.

Madewell Court Sneakers in White and Pink Leather, $98

2. SPLURGE AND SAVE: SERENA AND LILY CAPIZ HONEYCOMB PENDANT
What is more coastal decor than a chandelier made out of shells? Serena and Lily’s Capiz Honeycomb Pendant is exactly that! It’s made out of oyster shells, which gives it a delicate, iridescent look. It features a honeycomb texture, gold metal frame, and is available in three sizes.
I did some digging and found similar coastal capiz pendants at Wayfair, Joss and Main, CB2, Overstock, Anthropologie, and Ashley Furniture. They all feature a similar honeycomb pattern, capiz shells, and a gold frame.

3. SPLURGE AND SAVE: AMBER LEWIS FOR ANTHROPOLOGIE HENDERSON COFFEE TABLE
Every time Anthropologie comes out with a new Amber Lewis (also known as Amber Interiors) collaboration, I do a happy dance. Amber is one of my absolute favourite designers, so I was excited to find this Amber Interiors Splurge and Save for you.
The Anthropologie x Amber Lewis Henderson Coffee Table is solid wood, features Amber’s signature laid-back style, and is available in black and oak.
Wayfair’s Addy Coffee Table is also solid wood, comes in black and oak, features exposed jointwork, and has a handcrafted oval top.
Splurge: Amber Lewis for Anthropologie Henderson Coffee Table, $998
Save: Wayfair Addy Solid Wood 4 Legs Coffee Table, $243
4. SPLURGE AND SAVE: SERENA AND LILY KENTFIELD LONG CHANDELIER
Serena and Lily’s Kentfield Long Chandelier looks similar to the Kentfield pendant, but is wider and has more candelabra lights. Its rectangular shape is perfect for over a kitchen island, a dining table, or a large open space. Just like the pendant, it features a metal frame (without glass), traditional candlestick lights, and a minimalist silhouette.
I found a variety of similar lights on Wayfair and World Market; they feature a metal cage, a transitional shape, and many of them come in gold, black, and silver.
Splurge: Serena and Lily Kentfield Long Chandelier, $1,698
Saves: Wayfair Neuhaus 6 – Light Kitchen Island Geometric Pendant, $449
Wayfair Tari 5 – Light Kitchen Island Geometric Chandelier, $699

5. SPLURGE AND SAVE: MCGEE AND CO. GOODMAN PENDANT
These pendants really “wowed” me. If you love modern traditional (also known as transitional) decor, you’ll appreciate these stunning pendants.
As soon as I saw them, I fell in love with the metal empire shade and the simplicity of the entire design. Bonus: both the Spend and the Save come in colours such as black, warm nickel, and polished brass, so you’ve got lots of options to choose from.
I can’t stop thinking about these pendants in a kitchen, but they would also look incredible in a bedroom, over a kitchen nook, or even shortened for an entryway.
Splurge: McGee and Co. Goodman Pendant, $900
Saves: Wayfair 1-Light Single Cone Pendant, $184
Wayfair Byram 1 – Light Single Cone Pendant, $175
Target Metal Pendant Ceiling Light – Threshold™ designed with Studio McGee, $200
Wayfair Dex 1 – Light Single Cone Pendant, $289
