Zero Ink

Canon IVY photo printers only require special paper called ZINK which stands for “ZERO INK”. Instead of ink, it uses colorful dye-based crystals embedded inside the paper. Before printing, the embedded dye crystals are clear so ZINK paper looks like regular, white photo paper and it uses heat to activate and colorize the crystals. So you never have to worry about running out of ink!

Load Your Canon IVY With ZINK Paper

Loading your Canon IVY with ZINK photo paper is super easy. Make sure to put the blue SmartSheet in first and face down, this sheet properly calibrates your Canon IVY to the paper it’s about to print on. Don’t miss this step. Then close your IVY back up, that’s all there is to it.

Print A Sticker

Download the zip file of “rectangle ready” IVY sticker files at the bottom of this post and save them to your smart device. Then when you’re in the app, you can click to select any sticker files you’d like to print. The files can be accessed via your phone photos or Google Drive. Here I chose the peace sign and shaka-bra.

Each time you print with a new pack of paper, remember the blue SmartSheet will come out first.

Like I mentioned above, it’s so awesome that this mini printer requires no ink and that you can literally print anywhere you are.

Print As Many Stickers As You’d Like

There are 20 stickers in total and 12 “rectangle ready” prints, so print as many as you’d like!

How To Use The App Based Stickers

Using the stickers that are inside the Canon Mini Print App is super easy. Just open a photo that you’d like to print, then at the bottom select “stickers”. An entire panel of stickers will appear and you can choose ours our any other collection you see.

Here I chose to print the iced coffee on top of a turquoise wall I took a photo of.

Resize + Print

Resize the sticker, drag it around, add text, add more stickers… and print!

Cut or Add Them Whole

Cut the stickers out, use the whole sheet, do both… have fun with your journal or planner entries!

How To Use The ZINK Pre-cut Circle Stickers

Here I printed mine on sticker paper so that I could cut them out and my kids could play with them!
