It’s the best month of the entire year!!! October is this Mama’s jam, so of course, everything including learning, is Halloween-themed! I’ve partnered with Canon to bring you 10 adorable, cut + color pages to add a little holiday flair to your learning or crafting this month. Your kiddos can color or paint these designs and then bust out their scissors to show off their creation, hole punch, and add ribbon or twine for some festive, hand-made holiday decor. I’ve got a fantastic tip on how you can easily make these free printables double-sided, check it out below and see them in action in our Instagram REELS!
Spooky Scissor Practice
Scissor practice is a regular thing in our home. Everyone has their own special pair of scissors and I always look for ways to allow the girls to use their special pair. From craft projects to removing clothing tags, or even helping me open the mail. So these cuts were a little more tricky for them and I really like being able to give them a good challenge.
Our FREE printable files available at the end of the post!
Download + Print
Download: Visit the end of the blog post to grab our exclusive, free printable Halloween Cut + Color pages. Once you click on the graphic your download will start instantly, doing it from a laptop or desktop computer is best. Double click to open the .zip file and reveal the 10 printable designs, all sized to 8.5″ x 11″.
Double-sided Print: Print one (or all) of the designs like regular the first time around, using the correct settings for the paper you’re using. Then, flip the page around and insert it “face” down back into the printer. This time under “Layout” in your print queue, there will be a box that says “Flip horizontally“, check that box, then print!
Like magic you’ll have yourself the perfect, double-sided craft print for your kiddos to paint or color and then hang for the holiday!
Double Sided Matte Photo Paper
Canon’s Double Sided Matte Photo Paper is my absolute favorite white paper to print on. Not only does every print, color or black and white, come out looking professional but it’s terrific for coloring and painting on, which is ideal for crafting of all types.
Here my daughter used her kid watercolors on the paper and the paper absorbed the water wonderfully and the ink didn’t run one bit.
