Add The Hot Chocolate

My favorite hot chocolate mix is this one from Ghirardelli and I was excited to find it in packets! Note: the 40ml glass vials don’t fit the entire 1.5oz hot chocolate packet, you can actually fill up 4 jars with 3 packets, as long as you don’t spill too much!

The serving suggestion calls for 8oz of water to be mixed, so on the label you’ll see I reduced it to 6oz, which was the perfect ratio!

Wipe The Rim + Cork

The hot chocolate powder gets everywhere and to make the jar look clean you’ll want to wipe the rim before you add the cork!

Fancy Sprinkles

Ahhh, fancy sprinkles! I’m in love with these pretties from Man VS. Cake, when it comes to sprinkles they really can’t get much better. Use any sprinkles you’d like!

I put sprinkles on my kiddos oatmeal… and so now they actually ask for it. I let them choose their own sprinkles, so the rest of these will now be added to the roster!

Trim The Baggies

I could only find 1″ treat baggies in 10″ lengths online, so we’re wasting a little. Cut the baggies in half, you won’t need the excess, they are easier to fill that way.

Add Sprinkles

By hand or with a funnel, add your sprinkles, about an inch will do.

Add 3 Marshmallows

When you’re adding the marshmallows it helps to push them down using a popsicle stick or the like.

Twist Tie

Seal them up with a twist tie and trim away any excess. The cool thing is the marshmallows really hold the sprinkles down, so you can fill all the baggies and then tie them all off, no need to fill and then tie.

I’m in love with this ribbon seller on Amazon called LinenLark. They sell the most beautiful handmade ribbon in gorgeous shades and sizes. Cut 20″ of 1/2″ ribbon.

Tie Together

Tie the sprinkle bag onto the hot chocolate vial with a little bow off to the side or the back.

Print + Cut

Print our exclusive hot chocolate labels onto 8.5″ x 11″ white sticker paper and then trim down to size. There are 33 labels per sheet. The colors are all pastel; pink, peach, yellow, green, mint, blue, lavender, gray, and white. I’ve also included a full rainbow sheet in case you’d like to make a few of the colors like I did here.

Add Labels

Add the sticker labels over the ribbon to finish off your darling hot chocolate favor!

Mix & Enjoy

Our labels instruct to mix with 6oz of hot water or milk… then add sprinkles and marshmallows, possibly on top of whipped cream if you want to be extra!
